About me:
Historically, I’m a developer. I started to work with software before the “personal computer” age in 1979 :)
Then I developed any kind of platform and software, integrating computer knowledge and software platforms / environments with the real life.
In the meantime I worked in different research fields with universities and private companies in Italy: from image analysis to archeology, from statistics to electronics.
One of my great experiences during the end of ‘80s was on big geographic networks and the first web developments.
Is in the period between 1995 and 2003 that I acquired experience in wan knowledge working as a consultant in wide networks around the world.
During last ten years I worked and started to develop hardware and software applications for mobile environments: the absolutely first experience was on Palm OS (I wrote also a book :))
At the actual date, I’m a technical journalist and researcher and develop software and small peripherals for embedded systems with platforms like Open Wrt and Ltib and with QT for mobiles, smartphones and desktop multiplatform applications (Linux / Windows / Mac) with and intensive use os the QT suite from Nokia.
The near future plans aims to port applications that I’m developing for Nokia mobiles also under iPhone, iPod (the enhanced touch versions) and iPad.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
