Norway sucks, because it's an European country and it's not a member State of the Union :)
Btw I think Norway, with Switzerland and Iceland, should join the EU to make it even more powerful.
Let's stand united!!!!!!

By the time the EU becomes the greatest country in the world, China (and later, India), will have long eclipsed both the US and the EU.

I agree... the future of the planet seems to lie in countries like India, and the South American nations (both of which have growing populations, and improving infrastructure)... Meanwhile, both North America and Europe continue to self destruct with their voluntarily shrinking populations, out of control greed/arrogance, and escalating fascism/socialism (which both, despite what your schoolbook taught you, aren't all that different [both systems = totalitarianism]).

 Bella pe tutti!

Romanaccio:
Io so de Roma, Italia! Belle fighe e tanta roba da magnà!

Italiano:
Io sono di Roma, Italia! Ci sono belle ragazze e il cibo è squisito!

English:
Im from Rome, Italy! Beautiful girls and good food!

Deutsch:
Ich bin von Rom, Italie! Schoene Maedchen und gute Nahrung

Ok Ok, i guess the German translation is not really correct. Romanaccio is my dialect, and i wrote the sentence in a volgar form.

Hey guys teach me German! (and possibily Icelandic, i love those languages!)

OK. :-)

Ich bin aus Rom, Italien! Schöne Mädchen und gutes Essen.

("gute Nahrung" is also ok, but is better translated with nutrition than food)

 Europe ?

by linuxbeest on: Jul 16 2003

Score 50%

A lot of people using kdelook seem to be from europe.
It really surprises me that the difference between the US and Europe is so big.

Is this only true for KDE or are most opensource-developers and users from Europe ?

Anyway, seeing the voting results and the comments by other people I'm really proud to be european. (Flanders, belgium)

sorta-- redhat has deep market penetration in the US, and it defaults to GNOME.

SuSE and mandrake have deep market penetration in Europe, and it defaults to KDE.

Of course, there are a lot of us Americans who do use KDE, and there are a rapidly increasing amount of American KDE developers.

Hm, I think, that OpenSource is much more used in Europe than in the U.S.. However this poll might also have a different result, if asked on a Gnome site.

I'm from Catalonia (which its capital is Barcelona) and I speak catalan.

We're Europeans too, but our language (spoken by more than 6 million people) will not be officially recognized by our future Constitution.

The European Union will be great, someday...

meanwhile, we are obfuscated code

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
