i really liked the movie. i read the book some years ago and i loved that one. unfortunately, they changed quite a lot in the movie that i'd loved to see but it's worth a see though.

AFAIK, Douglas himself wrote most of the script for the movie, before he passed away. It was also him who made it more like a love story.
Most of the changes in the movie are "original".

I havn't seen the movie yet, but I will soon (I hope).

I love the book(s). I know that I won't be disappointed, because I don't have high expectations of the the movie.

Well, it'll be fun to watch. DON'T PANIC!

I saw it with my brother, who is also a fan of HHGttG. Some of the best fun while watching was quoting lines from the radio series that the movie missed.

The Chicken Little trailer right beforehand was done well, and the "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" song was annoyingly good.

All in all, I'm glad I saw it.

IMHO it should be H2G2, not H2G :-)

PS: Bonus points to the first one to find the German song which rhymes with / corresponds to the subject of this post..

That depends...
the song begins with: "an alle nixblicker"
and the corresponding line you were asking would be: "ich bin der picknicker"

What do I get for my bonus point???

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
