By theobroma
Published: Mar 19 2005
The judges have choosen a new logo for our biggest event of the year - the KDE Developers and Users Conference 2005 (aka aKademy 2005)! The winning logo is Steve Kings Blush Stroke logo. Steves logo will be seen everywhere including on t-shirts, websites and in magazines. Congradulation!

Thanks to all of you who entered in this contest. It was a close race. We really appreciate all of your hard work.

Just a reminder that the digiKam Superimpose Template Contest is in full swing. We are looking forward to seeing the artwork that this contest brings out!!!

For those of you interested in helping out on future contests please feel free to join KDE-contests mailing list.

Pretty harsh response! So I take it you have done everthing in your power to help with the contests and judging processes? And no doubt you have contacted Theobroma directly as well as join the mailing list? Cause comments like these don't help anyone! Unless you have exhausted every resource and need to trash talk people to try to shame them into action. But why trash talk when you have not voiced your concern though the proper channels?
So my thoughts on your comment is.... GET INVOLVED! IF YOU THINK IT NEEDS FIXING HELP FIX IT!!!! Truly there is plenty of room for you. As judges need to be judgemental. You qualify;)

"i had that feeling that you are going to use the two phased judging system i offered.
good luck to everyone!" I was wrong you were involved in the process of helping define the judging process on the SVG Wallpaper. So I don't get it are you dissapointed with the judges or the judging process? Or both?

The best thing about owning a Linux box is it's mine and you cant play in it.

I think in almost all the contested so far (except this one), there were better items then the winner.
No criticism on the judges or the judging proccess. Just posting an opinion.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
