*Winner of amaroK challenge*

*Winner of amaroK challenge*

Calling all artists it's time to rok out in the "OPEN" once again. it's better than fried chicken sexier than.....well...uh sexy stuff, more useful than a kitchen full of plastic utensils. You can use it as a Frisbee, a weapon, or to cut the watermelon that goes with the fried chicken mentioned above...could you pass the potato salad thanks... . It can also double as a means to completely blow your enemies, friends, and dogs' minds (yes all dogs' really want to be wolves.) with one of the most talked about KDE music applications in this great big wide "open" world. Yes you guessed it it's....damn it what was my line again..yes it's the amaroK live CD. Could I try that over again I just wasn't feeling the....oh we're live.....right now...as in....ah.

Introducing the amaroK live CD week long challenge.

Here's the lowdown.

The following artwork is needed:

1) isolinux boot screen,
2) Bootsplash theme,
3) Startup splash,
4) KDE shutdown image,
5) 1600 x 1200 Wallpaper,

These are the common elements: With this release amaroK is working together with Magnatune.com in an effort to promote free music and software for all. This is a very important point and should be reflected in the artwork.

These are a few slogan ideas:

amaroK and Magnatune: taking freedom to a whole new decibel! free music meets free software the collision of free software and free music

Arrr maties, the contest has come to an end. To see all of the submitted artwork go to. ***amaroK live CD Artwork Challenge*** at kde-artists.org/kollaboration forum. Congratulations to tightcode. Download and burn a copy of the live CD for your friends parrot or wolf. Woof! ;)

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
