Ideas I can't possibly have with my current IQ.

So please! if you have a very nice desktop, don't be shy,
put it up here!

please use bbcode when u post, makes it easier for
other users to view ur screenshot, just put "[url]" in
front of the link and "[/url]" after... then it will look
like this http://www.link.to.ur.amazing.screenshot.html
Thank u for ur consideration!

services one can use to upload pics and then share the link:

How to enable the bespin ARGB?
All what I get is blanko configuration list.

http://imagebin.ca/view/BKxZL0P.html

Should there be something else than just the warning of experimental? Just pulled the SVN before posting this.

That screenshot shows all what I get. There is no configuration option for ARGB. Only the normal transparency works but...

You need to enable the argb cflag in the
cmake gui....

so... run the configure script in the
cloudcity folder, ./configure , then it
asks you if you wanna use the cmake gui
for adjusting settings or some like that,
there you press "y", after that, just
run make and make install.

Hope you get it working!

My fault - sorry :-(
The entire section used to be hidden in case, but that got lost with the ToolBox.

You still need to enable ARGB support at _compile_ time as this might cause various unforseen troubles and is (partially due to hard Qt restrictions) no way "perfect" (e.g. can't toggle the state after the init, e.g. when suspending composition) - so I expect you to know what you're doing

 Theme editing help

 by tzoli333 on: Feb 21 2010

Hi!

I'm newbe to linux, and theme custumising, and hope U could help me out. I used GTK Lepoard ( http://ubuntu-art.org/content/show.php/GTK+Leopard+?content=104106) theme as a source.

I Like the OSX design (save for the logo :) )
So I made a few modifications, but I got stuck.

Currently my desktop looks like this: http://ubuntu-art.org/content/show.php?content=120565

How can I apply the separator line for the full top panel? Or how can I make it disappear?
With the original theme the menu content was darker grey.

I took the image file from the panel folder (panel-bg) copied it to menu-menubar folder and renamed it to menubar.

As a sideeffect it also changed the menu line in apps, but that's not a problem I like it this way better.

I also like the minimise-maximise-close buttons where they are :-DDD

please note that I'm a newbe and prefer GUI, and simple solutions if possible.

help please... I'm all ears :)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
