 Something I've noticed...

by SteveMcQwark on: Mar 28 2009
Score 50%

...that's starting to bug me: when I am mousing through multiple groups, the preview disappears and I have to wait for another hover timeout to activate the next one. Is there any possibility of implementing the Taskbar widget's (and, in fact, the entire rest of the panel's) method of having the tooltip slide, or at least have the new one opened immediately, so that there is no wait after the initial hover timeout?

Is it possible to also disable the preview popup?

The apps are not grouped so why is the popup required? i would like the preview and the popup to both be optional

Thanks, great work

 Window activation

At first: Thank you very much for that nice plasmoid!

My idea for an additional function, activation of a window on mouse over the belonging preview (after a certain time)...Since I am not skilled in programming, I don't know if this complicated to do!

But this can be a helpful option for the plugin.

Take it like a sportsman! - Nimm's sportlich.

It is possible and rather easy to do, something like delayed activation during drag and drop over task entries.

I'm using this grouping option, but It's not very usable. To open the window I need to make 2 moves: down to the panel, and back up to one of the windows. You could make it like this: after moving to the group on the panel they split and first one expand. Now you can move between these elements of the group being still on the panel. Also it would be more in style of other features STasks brings.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
