I don't try cde but I tried (?) xfce but I don't see/found similar funtionality..
I would that every launcher (if you want, not necessary) can launch an apps on left click have the window menu on right (like the standard task manager) and with the midle click show a sub menu with other apps (for exemple of the same category) selected by the user (of course) --

Sorry for my bad english..

 Mac OSX dock?

by Dareus on: Jan 17 2009

Score 50%

Is this similar to the Mac OsX dock?
That's what it seems to me...

And I really like it!
That could be a GREAT idea.

Sarebbe bellissimo avere un plasmoide-attività che fa il dock (e sarebbe anche comodissimo)

This make it different from MacDock.

(Il dock fa troppe cose che dovrebbe fare la systray, e questo lo rende scomodo alle volte.)

 Good idea

I am neutral about the drawer-like thing, which btw was in KDE 2.0 (or was it 1.0?). However, I do like the notification for Kmail to include the sender's details additionally along with part of the subject line.

I also like how thunderbird does this when multiple new messages have arrived. Anyway, this point is more suited to kmail dev mailing list!

I never used KDE first of kder4 (I use gnome or xfce or e17 or pekwm.. but not kde..).. And The notification in the new kde4 (I use kde4.1.3 on my archlinux) the notification isn't good, also the kopete notification are a lot bad.. The amarok2 notification system isn't bad..

Thanks a lot!!!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
