---------------------------------------
PLEASE READ -- >

SuSe 9.0 Users May have trouble with the SVG icons not displaying correctly in KDE. If you are having this problem then use the FULL PNG Version.

Changelog:

03.01.05 - Theme now hosted by Stefan. Thanx allot!

Color Schemes - Most of the color-schemes have been updated & adjusted. View the README...

v2.6.1 - (SVG) - (04.01.04) Minor bug fix release. (3.2.1 rendering trouble) I also added several new colors-schemes and a few new icons...

v2.6 - (PNG) - (03.07.04) OK! Here it is, the long waited full PNG version... Enjoy! < -- "this is me eating my words" :)

v2.6 - (SVG) - (03.07.04) - This should have been released a while ago, but I just never got around to it, so here it is.

NOTE: I have decided to not release anymore FULL PNG VERSIONS. Sorry, but i just don't have the time to put another one of those together. If someone else would like to do it, I would be glade to release it on this page...

 BeOS?

To me this looks extremly like BeOS - at least partially. Are these icons released under the GPL?

...my wife complained that I do not pay attention...or something like that...

Wasp is BeOS... Like I said above, the Gnome Themes Extras package comes with a theme called Wasp. That theme contains Icons, a MetaCity & a GTK2 Style...

These Icons are based off of that Icon Theme. Thats why I call it Wasp and not BeOS. Plus there is already a Icon Theme called BeOS on kde-look...

If you are talking about the Window Decoration, it's called BeWasp and it's a take off of a theme called BeWB that can be downloaded from here:

BeWB v0.3:

If you would like to use the one in the screenshot, then check the Wasp Archive under /extra/icewm .

Is there anyway of using that proper kmenu instead of that red curly thing?

Great work other than that.

thanks

There are 3 Kmenu icons included, you have to change it manually to use the other two...

So *how* do you actually change this icon? You can't right click on the start menu icon and get a properties dialog, there are no entries in the panel properties or taskbar properties, or menu editor that addresses this. If you're referring to changing the text in some configuration file somewhere, would you be so kind as to actually specify that file?

Thanks.

The only way I know of doing it is going into the directory it's self and renaming things to fit what you want.

If all you want is the default kmenu icon (Crystal) then all you should have to do is delete or rename this icon.

/$HOME$/.kde/share/icons/Wasp/scalable/apps/kmenu.svg

After deleting or renaming it, it should then default back to the "BIG K".

Yep, I actually ended up doing just that (although I did manage to get it to display another of the Wasp icons (the three little boxes)). I was just hoping that there was an actual configuration setting that would work (might be something to lob off at the KDE developers to see if they can add icon properties to the start menu button).

Thanks!

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
