 newtorking is disabled

When trying to translate something the result is: "Networking is disabled. Cannot connect to google", but the other plasmoids are connected to the internet.
It doesn't matter which language I choose.

When I tried (on a whim) to do a translation while I was not connected to a network, Plasma crashed.

 my wishlist :)

Hi and thanks again for your Plasmoid :) I have a problem with the mini flags on the tray-Icon, so I changed the Icon for dictionary and I have them very small on the panel. It's looks bad this kind. It would be very kind from you to include in the settings a "unable" this feature. The second is that I wish a setting for choosing the default-languages for A and B. Because after every restart of KDM language A is french and B is english. :(
I saw the setting for this in your Plasmoid, but seems like it's losing after every KDM-restart his changes. *confusing*
Can you fix this? I will appreciate it very much. :)

Sincerly scholli

Yes it's true. Here a screeny:

http://ubuntu-pics.de/bild/11381/bildschirmfoto_Mcpkeq.png

CWP saves his changes. Maybe do something similar?
A Mini-Flags-unable would be nice, too. See screeny. :)

The languages are even reverting to default while there are no changes on the desktop or X is not restarted.

Just between 2 consequent translations I observed the from language switching back to French. (Note: the plasmoid was in the panel, and it was hidden between the 2 translations). However, this is not happening all the time... strange.

And my wishes to the wishlist:
- change the icon color. Your icon is almost identical with the dictionary plasmoid icon. I have both of them on the panel. I use a very thin panel and the 2 icons are hard to distinguish.
- a shortcut for the translate button. It would be handy to type in a word and just hit a key instead of having to take the mouse and click on "Translate"

 No Flag Version?

by eliwap on: Mar 24 2009

Score 50%

Will there be a noflag version of 0.8?

It would be really easier in the long run, I think, if you're willing to do this, to be able to throw some kind of cmake option. some equivalent to make's option of --without-option. So essentially you would only have to do this once.

Thanks

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
