KDE Icons

These icons are resized, renamed and relaid out versions of the the quite excellent icon theme Ximian South created by Jakub "Jimmac" Steiner for Nautilus. South in turn contains icons from tigert's Ximian North. All references to the copyrighted Ximian logo have been removed, leaving only the juicy GPL goodness.

The original graphics were called "South", and this is essentially a repackaging, with a handful
of new icons to map to the KDE icon requirements a bit more. Is has been renamed not to confuse authorship but rather to distinguish this as a fork, since many of the icons have been processed and resized, and also to distinguish it as a KDE icon pack rather than Gnome.

1.3.4a: Fixed the theme so the Toolbar icons and Throbber show up when installed. Thanks goes to Tackat and The Plaid Ranger for technical feedback. Next up: cleaning the edges of the toolbar icons (maybe this weekend).

1.3.4: Initial upload (Version sync with Ximian-South)

These icons sets have toolbar and throbber icon replacements, but I can't seem to get them to work. If you know how, please email me and I'll update the package.

maybe you should rename the folder from action to actions. This could work! ;-)

There are two bugs in your icontheme-file:

1.) rename your "action"-directories to "actions" ("actions" is what you specified in index.desktop - of course you could also just change "actions" to "action" in the index.desktop-file as an alternative solution)
2.) Replace Context=actions with
Context=Actions in your index.desktop-file. "Actions" is one of the Context your theme inherits from. Therefore the Context has to be named the same in your theme. Otherwise KDE won't be able to map the icons correctly

All these attempts to create a decent icon-theme (including my own) just prove how good (and original) the default KDE icon-theme is.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
