great icons man!! I love black, and lots
of it! :D

minor detail tho... it's for kde4 :D

how much time would it take to make
this for kde3?

if you have the time, please do it,
it would be appreciated!!

voted good, and I cursed everybody
who voted bad so next time they boot
their comp, the windows logo will appear :D

I was able to install it in KDE 3.5.9, BUT I also have KDE 4.1 installed on my computer as well (just to test it out to decide when I want to officially switch over to it - if I do).
That may be how I was able to.
Also, I extracted it and re-compressed it as a tar.gz file to install it (using the installed in the kde settings).
I don't know if this would help you much but it can be done apparently.

what do you expect?

yeah, I also installed it in kde 3.5.10,
it was actually after installing I realized
that it was for kde4 since some icons
just showed up as a "?" icon....

anyways, thanks for your advice, I also
used kde 4.1 some time ago and it is
really great!

I don't know why I'm on kde 3.5 now,
maybe because I'm too lazy :D

Linuxgirl13 offers sound advice. You probably won't have too many problems installing it in KDE 3. There will be some icons that don't work, I'm sure. Most of the important ones should work, though. You can either recompress as a tar.gz file and install with kcontrol or just extract the package to your ~/.kde/share/icons/ directory.

Thanks again for your great work!

Thanks, but I can't take much credit for this. I added very few icons and modified it to work well with KDE. Thanks go to deviantdark.

Didn't know there was a KDE re-porting of Oxygen :)
Kinda funny but glad to know it.

I'm glad it meets your approval. :) Oxygen Refit 2 Black is about the only icon theme I use. I change up the folder icons every once in a while, but that's about it. Thanks for making it.

Have to hand it to you, very nice work! However, I enjoy a dark theme, so these (of course) don't contrast very well. Is this icon set available 'non-dark'? I'd love to have this set for a dark theme desktop.

It takes less time to take the time to do it right the first time, than it does to fix it the second time.

Never mind! Went to the link you identified. I'm downloading the Oxygen-Refit2 White version.

Cool.

 gnome icon in kmenu

by MartinZ on: Nov 25 2008

Score 50%

This icons are awesome, but for some weird reason I'm getting a horrible -not really, but it doesn't fit- gnome foot in kmenu. I also get misleading icons under System Settings (such as nepomuk icon for Appearance).

Am I doing something wrong?

 No amarok icons?

The amarok icons like play, stop, pause, rewind, forward, etc are all missing! What a bummer! :S

Besides that this icon theme rocks!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
