What Version from Skulpture U are using in the screenshot? The bar at the bottom right, that`s showing the used/free Space of the partition, looks different here on my PC (Skulpture V1.3.2).

In your screenshot, it`s look much better! I really hope this is coming in one of your next versions!

Hi goona, the disk space gauge is actually a new KDE 4.2 widget, I am running KDE from trunk. Sorry for publishing a screen shot even before the 4.1 release ;)

Also, the look is probably not final, as it has some problems with brighter color themes, but the commit is very young.

Mhh, would it be possible to use another "disk space gauge" in Skulpture before 4.2?

This part is the only thing I do not like in Skulpture. Maybe you could style it like it is currently in Oxygen (KDE4.1)?

goona, why the heck didn't you ask me earlier!? *snarl*

The progress bar is actually the oldest part of Skulpture (having its roots in ancient Qt 4.0 days), and no enhancement request has been made until today. What exactly don't you like about it? The coloring? The frame? The fill gradient? The text?

Anyway, the 0.1 branch is frozen (only fixes for show stoppers will be done), so you will have to wait for 0.2, which may or may not be released before KDE 4.2.

And yes, we are still at 0.1 version, not 1.3 :)

Mainly, I mean the the colours:

I think it would look much better if the display has the same colour as the progressbar, instead of green. The background should be grey (exactly like windowbackground) and the fontcolour black without outline or shadow.

Yeah, Your widget theme and kwin decoration are awesome! But the question is the same: what's with the progressbars on the screenshot? I like them much more than 1.3.2's ones.

The current progressbar isn't so beautiful as other parts of your theme, IMHO. It's too 'fat' and looks like ugly one from Plastik. The Oxygen-like bar will be much better, I think.

P.S.
But, thank again for Your theme! It's only usable and non-disgusting (and beautiful, of course!) style for KDE4. I'm using it since version 0.1.2 and don't thinking of swapping it on anything else.

P.P.S.
Just updated to KDE 4.1 :)

Never mind.. fixed installing required dependency: kdebase-workspace-dev

You should put this somewhere, together with kdelibs5-dev if necesary...

Cheers.

Well, this decoration has been designed to fit Skulpture widget style, so no round edges for now, sorry. Future versions (0.2.x) are planned to have rewritten frame code, but I cannot give any ETA yet.

Could you try and test the binary package? I got no feedback if the Debian package actually works with Kubuntu/Ubuntu. You might need to wait for official KDE 4.1 packages in your KDE repositories, though. Should be out shortly.

Thanks,
Christoph

Hi,

I didn't tested any binary for Kubuntu, i prefer to compile this, since not everyone really knows how to package a good debian binary with all its dependencies.

Yes, i know... looks your style has no "rounded details"

Very nice Anyway, i just told these cause i like the window border much than the hole widgets style itself.

Cheers.

Only add comments about decoration here, otherwise use theme/style entry.
Read warnings, happy hacking!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
