Are you joking? Try other ways. I can advice you something:
1.Delete .pro and Makefile.
2.Use qmake-qt4 insted of qmake
3.Try to update qt.

Gtk-kde4 0.4 won't display Qt4-gtk-Style under "Choose style" if it`s install to /usr/share/themes !!!

gtk-kde4 0.4b is working for me!

~/.themes/ also don`t work, so 0.4 is useless for me! Again only qt & Raleigh are displayed! :-(

I`ll continue using 0.4b. This works fine for me!

Hey, you need to check "Use current KDE style". Qt4 mustn't appear in styles list,
I removed it specially :)

Don`t work for me! If I check this option, the style turns back to "Ugly-Raleigh"!

Please allow path /usr/share/themes for V.0.4.1! Only like this way we can use additional gtk-styles in both KDE-Sessions!

I will continue using 0.4b by now, but looking forward to 0.41!

You really need to use either the automake tools or cmake. Many people have KDE4 installed in a private directory because they aren't actually using it yet. I had to do a lot of editing of the Makefile.

You need no makefile editing. qmake -unix must overwrite it using your system configuration. If not, then delete it and type qmake -unix again. But i'll think about configurator. Thanks!

OK. The problem is that your tarball includes YOUR "Makefile". I suggest that you be careful not to include files from your build.

Don't use Dolphin tar-manger to unpack arhives, it still buggy, try to unpack theme by file-roller etc.

THX! It`s working now! But what does this mean: "Fixed bug with borders of buttons and other style elements"?

The colour around the buttons looks still different here! I think the problem is that the pictures use a static colour around the elements and when the Option "Apply KDE colours to gtk...." is checked, KDE4 use gradiants inside the windows!

Is gtk2 does`nt be able to use png-transparency in some areas of the pics?

Look at the srennshot of synaptic, there are no borders around the buttons. I don't know what it can be, but try to install main PNG libraries, or try to compile Source Code, no binary.

 KDEsvn+Qt4.4

It's not easy to explain the situation.

I've compiled KDE4 from svn with qt4.4.
Your app works only if compiled with qt4.4 too, everything's seems to be all right, but colors are not ok if I choose "use kde style". With Qt style gtk-kde4 works good.

Here's a snapshot

Thank you!!!

Hello! It seem that nothing wrong with colors. It may be problem of transparency.
Try to rebuild theme(start app, check "Use KDE style", press "OK" again). If not, try to install gtk-engines-pixmap & gtk2-engines-pixbuf, and rebuild theme again.

I understand this problem maybe connected with qt4.4. I guess they remake function, which i use to draw toolbar backrounds and slider backgrounds. I'll fix it in 0.4.2. Thank you for info, and sorry for inconvenience.

 Doesn't compile

by excieve on: Feb 19 2008

Score 50%

The latest 0.4.2 version doesn't compile due to missing declaration in the source. It can be easily fixed by adding
Quote:
QTableWidgetItem tableitem;

in src/form1.cpp somewhere before line 148.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
