Umicons Icons for KDE!

I have convertet in many hours over 2500 icons for KDE.
There are many icons which aren't used by KDE. Just take a look in the folders.

Many thanks to mattahan, the creator of the icons, for his agreement to convert this icons for KDE.

Please read the readme!

could you make a set that use lighter
colours? These icons are a bit on the
dark side. It's still a great set, but
would you considder creating a lighter

If you want them brighter just go to the controlcenter/Look&Feel/Symbols and add more gamma to all icons...?
There you could make them brighter, darker or colorize them.

I think these icons look really nice. However, I continue to use Crystal for one reason - depth of icons. Every iconset I've used other than standard KDE and Crystal icons are far too incomplete. Too often, only 60% of your icons are present and the rest are standard Hi-Color KDE icons. I know that making these takes a lot of work, but maybe, like Crystal, you can get submissions from others that can make them have enough for most people to use for more like 90% of their icons.

With that, I think you should really keep up the good work. These icons are beautiful and have a whole different flavor than the Crystal/Marble icons.

These icons are really nice. In fact, the seem to be three good icon themes in one package.

I think some icons, like the "new tab" icon in Konqueror, need to be redone... but most icon themes are incomplete anyway...

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
