Description:

It’s a pleasure to say that, after long months waiting, the new version of the Crystal icon set is available for the public.
The Icons were already finalized about six months ago. In fact, it was necessary to bend the time, almost like the mythological battle between Zeus and Kronos, so then I could finally finish the the website redesign and launch the new set of icons.
Uncountable hours of work and some nights without sleeping were dedicated to this project. I hope you guys enjoy the final result.

It’s always a pleasure to serve you ;-)

ps. the theme style is just a Mockup.

Changelog:

I'll update Crystal Project for KD4 as soon it's possible.
Unfortunatelly I have a lot of things to do and not a lot of time (work, study, etc). So, please be patient.

I'm also working in a new theme that will be called Matte.

Keep in touch. ;-)

 Impressive.

As healthy as Crystal.
But as professional as Oxygen.
A very good mixture ;-)

It's definitively going to be my default icon them, instead of Crystal Clear.

Is it possible to have SVG sources?
There are never SVG sources with any Crystal icons.

And by the way, what window & widget theme are you using?
Is it available for KDE 3 to replace my theme?
It's so stuning...
Is it the new reworked version of Oxygen?
If yes, they finally got it right!
If not, then I vote for this theme in DKE 4 instead of Oxygen.

As Everaldo said, it's only a mockup.
And while it definitely has some great aspects -- such as the smoothly integrated subwindows -- I trust the Oxygen devs to come up with something even better - give 'em time, they're doing something more than a mockup :)

 The Home Icon

I find the home icon ugly. It's also very much "over-pimped".

The icons are amasing, but the theme and the windows decorations are allso impresive.I read that it is a mockup, but what is a mockup(sorry I am not english, I am romanian)? Some kind of makeup or?And does anybody knows how to makeit to look like this? Thanks

Nothing s perfect but Linux is as close to perfect as it can be.

 Great but...

I had to fix the up and down arrows in the Actions because they were pointing the wrong way--the up and down arrows usually pointed the wrong way.

But great nonetheless.

 style

The icons give me nothing to complain about, but it is the widget style that really draws me to this shot. Hopefully someone could find a way to implement it. I find it more pleasing than any of the shots of KDE4's interface in progress.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
