It’s a pleasure to say that, after long months waiting, the new version of the Crystal icon set is available for the public.
The Icons were already finalized about six months ago. In fact, it was necessary to bend the time, almost like the mythological battle between Zeus and Kronos, so then I could finally finish the the website redesign and launch the new set of icons.
Uncountable hours of work and some nights without sleeping were dedicated to this project. I hope you guys enjoy the final result.

It’s always a pleasure to serve you ;-)

ps. the theme style is just a Mockup.

I'll update Crystal Project for KD4 as soon it's possible.
Unfortunatelly I have a lot of things to do and not a lot of time (work, study, etc). So, please be patient.

I'm also working in a new theme that will be called Matte.

Keep in touch. ;-)
(ps. follow me in http://twitter.com/EveraldoCoelho )

I'm interested too for this!

Thanks a lot Everaldo! I've been using Crystal Clear for years and I've never found any set as good as this one and you come back with a new set, and it's better.

Thanks again!!!

To install on OpenOffice 2.2.1 on Kubuntu Feisty 7.04:
- backup the file /usr/lib/openoffice/share/config/images_crystal.zip
- Download the crystal icons for OOo at http://everaldo.com/crystal/crystal_project_OOO.zip
- Unzip
- Enter the OOo folder created from the Unzip process
- Create a zip file with all folders and call the archive images_crystal.zip
- Copy that file (with root privileges) in the /usr/lib/openoffice/share/config/
- If you want to make them as default icons backup the /usr/lib/openoffice/share/config/images.zip and replace it with your archive
- Start OpenOffice
- Go to Tools -> Options -> View menu and select Crystal style

Hope this help!

awesome icons! thank you!!!

the only problem I have is that the systray arrow appears too large (when using a panel height of 24 pixels). is there any way to change that?

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
