Description:

This is the KDE iconset for GANT, the amazing icons created by the artist Paul Davey aka mattahan on deviantart. All rights reserved. This is my first theme, so I welcome any and all criticism and suggestions!

*note: you may need to change the file extension to .tar.gz! Darn deviantart

The build script depends on 'convert', which is part of ImageMagick.

To install this set:
1. download the zip file
2. extract the zip file
3. cd into the GANT folder
4. open a terminal there
5. run ./buildset
6. get a beer
7. Install the icon theme in KDE Control Panel
8. Enjoy

Please! Tell me when there's icons missing! :)

Changelog:

4/21/2007
0.2 relesaed, Added some icons, namely kopete and some apps (full changelog in the file)
6/12/2007
0.3 released, much more complete this time.

License:
This iconset is made freely available for personal use but may not be used commercially without contacting and receiving permission from mattahan himself.

great icon set! \
I'm using it right now... can you include the OpenOffice Icons in future?

Also, more icons? That would be cool

"Also, more icons?" - I'll add more if you can be more specific! :). I'll see if i can find some decent OOo icons, too.

Fantastic! Why don't you make a Kbfx button and/or a complete theme set based on it (bootsplash, splashscreen etc. etc.)?

It will be great!
The best icons set ever (with Buuf too).

I'll gladly add those things once I think I can do it well enough :). Anyone can feel free to make their own splash screen, etc, as I believe the icons are CC-SA with a restriction on commercial use and we can make a theme package (assuming I don't get good enough soon). KBFX seems simple enough so I'll get to work on it :D.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
