altough i believe that kde4 developers check this site, i think you should send these mockups directly to the developers, because you can create a lot of very nice mockups, but they will never be really implemented.

the best way of Memtest is emerge qt kde-meta

I don't like dolphin, i prefer konqueror, but your mockup of dolphin is a very good idea. But will have tabs like konqueror? Tabs are very very important for me.

Nice, i hope that kde's developers take a look at your mockup, because it's very interesting and nice.

 Tabs

Tabs in filemanager have been - for me - the greatest revolution since I switched from Windows to KDE.

I hope Dolphin will have tabs in alternative to split view (which I hate since Norton Commander days ^^)

looks really good... you should really send this to the devs... hope they'll realize it. tabs would be really cool too.. atm I prefere konqueror... but dolphin would also be nice for short file handling things

ps: sry for my bad english

 Quicklist

Why there are harddrive 1 and 2 on left side? I hope that there is not coming more windows style where users should know where their files are on HARD-DRIVES?! Unix way to "hide" drives and show them on directories is much better, only DVD/USB drives is needed to see.

KDE it just must be...

Maybe u have not realised yet that alot of users have more then 1 harddrive?

System harddrive can be hidden but the rest could be displayed... Please think a step forward!

Mayby you dont know but there is *nix (and linux) way to use only mount points, not partitions or harddrives.

I have 4 harddrives installed my system total partition count is 11 and i dont ever need to think on what partition or harddrive my files are.
When i add more drives i get them mounted to my system easily without need to think them as devices. just directories.

There is very good reason why MS windows style to show harddrives is bad and not so easy to use than mount points.

Or mayby we should trohw away filesystem what linux has and move to C:/ D:/ etc etc.

KDE it just must be...

Your Mockups look professional. Please send them to the dolphin developpers, They must see them. Especially the idea of the tab bar.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
