Description:

t was april 2002 when I first started designing a little 48x48 icon and published it at kde-look.org.
It was an alternative “trashcan" for KDE 2. Since then I’ve continued designing icons and started many themes to increase my skills and improve design quality, these were: "Desktop icons", "Sky", "Lush" and finally "Nuvola".

It tooks me more than a year to reach version 1, the more professional, consistent and complete Nuvola theme ever released, it will turn your KDE in an eyecandy colourful desktop.

If you never tryed Nuvola what are you waiting? give it a try! For the others waiting this release since a long time… download Nuvola 1.0 now!

Have fun and enjoy your desktop!
David Vignoni

 Really good

by gnumdk on: Jun 24 2004

Score 50%

i think this theme should be default one for kde 4.0.

It is perfect, i like crystal but nuvola is nicer :) And as you have made a gnome version, why not make it default freedesktop icon theme ? :)

ps: can i send you mails about missing icons in you set? i wan't to have a 100% nuvola kde desktop :)

 Second that

I'd second the replacement of crystal with nuvola for the default set. I particularly like the KMail toolbar icons - much easier to tell the buttons apart.

I'll come in with the third vote - I think nuvola and KDE work well together.

 Very good

The overall style is excellent. I don't like the back/forward/up buttons: they're too "cartoony" for my taste, and they don't fit well with the rest of the icon set.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
