 GDM Theme

by pjamey on: Feb 12 2007

This splash is the best in my opinion.
I've made a GDM theme out of the bg for my friend and myself and was wondering if you mind if I released it on gnome-look.org

 add progress bar

To add a proper progress bar:

Add these lines to the bottom of the .cfg file (this one is lined up for the 1024x768 resolution, but you can adjust from this for the other resolutions):

box silent inter 24 421 24 425 #0xCCCCCC 0xCCCCCC #383849 #2e2e3d
box silent 24 421 421 425 #0xCCCCCC 0xCCCCCC #383849 #2e2e3d

By the way, this is the nicest fbsplash I've seen for gentoo. I made a gdm theme and wallpaper from it.

Hi, is it possible to make a 1920x1200 Widescreen version?

It would look great on my laptop :)

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
