Description:

Crystal Diamond Icons 2.85: Wonderful, Realistic and complete Theme for your KDE. Last Update: 21/03/2012

- My personal blog: www.paolocampitelli.com

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crystal Diamond is a wonderful and realistic theme for Kde. I take the best icons from Crystal Project, Realistik, Vista Ispirate, Nuove XT, Crystal Clear, OSX, Debian Icons and many other and I made this Icon Theme. The icons are not mine! I simply take the best icons (for me) and made these packs! .

There are different mod such classical, shining, gentoo, arch, debian and kubuntu. The only difference between "Mods" is Kmenu except for Debian Mod and Oxygen Mod (also Kcontrol, Trash and Folder Icon).
There are more icons for one application. For example there are 6 different icons for Firefox! If you like, change into your favorite icon! (Left click, change icon). In the second image for example, I change firefox icon.

There are many Mod for your distro with new KMenu ICON (see the screenshot):

* Classical
* Shining
* Gentoo
* Debian
* Kubuntu
* Arch (New Logo!)
* FreeBsd/PcBsd
* Red Hat
* Apple
* MacOsX Finder
* Mandriva
* Slackware
* Suse Classic
* Suse Alternative
* Ubuntu
* OpenBsd
* Fedora
* Oxygen
* Mint (NEW!!!)
* OpenSolaris (NEW!!!)

Vista Inspirate is created by Saki, Crystal Clear/Crystal Project is created by Everaldo, Nuove XT is created by Saki, OsX is created by kiddo, Debian Icons is created by OnkelchenTobi ...and much more!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if you appreciate my work please support me! 8-)

 old icons in taskbar

Hi, great set, I'm using the Debian mod and I can't figure out how to change the icons displayed in the taskbar, it's still the old ones (for example Iceweasel is the dull blue thingy when I would like one of the cool icons from the set !).

If someone knows the location of the icons used by the taskbar applet, that would be great, thanks.

Thanks for your interest, this would be easy, but i'm not talking about the "shortcut" icons in the taskbar, i'm talking about those miniature icons that represent the app in the list off open windows. I'm about to find the answer and I managed to change the Icedove one, only Iceweasel and a couple of others still resist.
I left the problem aside due to lack of time, but i'll post the answer when i find one.

Again thanks for your work.

Try hosting your Icons at Sourceforge, htey provide good bandwidth for free projects!

This download-sides are just terribly slow...

 Zoom-Button

Hey,
you made a great icon set but there is one thing wrong with it. In every application where you can zoom in or out there is not a magnifier for zoom in. There is only a gear for this option. Is it possible to make another magnifier in this case. It would be look better.
Thanx.

I agree, very nice icon theme but for that "Enlarge Icons" icon on Konqueror that looks like a gear.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
