Description:

Domino is a style with a soft look. It allows to fine adjust the shininess of the widgets by customizable color gradients.

Changelog:
0.4
* new option for indented / non indented menu items
* new option for highlighted tool button icons on mouse over
* the button look for tool(bar) buttons is now optional
* new rubberband options
* smaller tabWidget margins
* respects Gwenview's / Kicker's taskbar applet / Konversation's own mousewheel handling for scrollviews
* clipped popup menu edges, for a better look with KWin's shadows (Beryl seems not to support it).
* fixes pixmaps on PowerPC architecture
* fixes functionality of some popup QToolButtons and adapts their look and behavior to KToolBarButtons
* the content of popup menus with a side pixmap is visible again (Amarok, Digikam)
* adapts KMenu's section header style
* fixes Kickoff's tab icon alignment
* fixes possible crash with enabled text effect
* lets apps using their own label colors on tabs (if they're not defaulting to a fixed color like konsole)
* decoration: option "dark window frame" draws a darker frame
* decoration: borders are hidden when in maximized mode and moving / resizing of maximized windows is not allowed.

 another problem...

 by ryanjharter on: May 23 2007

Score 50%

Every time I try to compile, I get and error:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

I have installed Qt 3.3.8 and qt-3.3.8-devel in the default paths(via Yum). Any ideas?

I don't know where Mandriva (Yum sounds like Mandriva) installs the Qt headers - but I'm sure you are able to find out. Then use configure with parameters:
./configure --with-qtdir=

Use the unarchiver of your choice and after that read the INSTALL file :) - line 26 "The simplest way to compile this package is:".

 Toolbar text

 by Shirakawasuna on: May 29 2007

Is there a way to change the toolbar text color? It seems to match the 'Window Text' setting. This makes it hard to use a dark theme with a light window background - like a dark window color and light background in say kate.

Thanks!

when ./configure I get this:

"checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X libraries. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!"

What should I add where?

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
 It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
 Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
 Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
 Gnome 3 default shell is much better
 I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
 None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
