Domino is a style with a soft look. It allows to fine adjust the shininess of the widgets by customizable color gradients.

* new option for indented / non indented menu items
* new option for highlighted tool button icons on mouse over
* the button look for tool(bar) buttons is now optional
* new rubberband options
* smaller tabWidget margins
* respects Gwenview's / Kicker's taskbar applet / Konversation's own mousewheel handling for scrollviews
* clipped popup menu edges, for a better look with KWin's shadows (Beryl seems not to support it).
* fixes pixmaps on PowerPC architecture
* fixes functionality of some popup QToolButtons and adapts their look and behavior to KToolBarButtons
* the content of popup menus with a side pixmap is visible again (Amarok, Digikam)
* adapts KMenu's section header style
* fixes Kickoff's tab icon alignment
* fixes possible crash with enabled text effect
* lets apps using their own label colors on tabs (if they're not defaulting to a fixed color like konsole)
* decoration: option "dark window frame" draws a darker frame
* decoration: borders are hidden when in maximized mode and moving / resizing of maximized windows is not allowed.

 Problem with config

I've got a problem every time I try to save my config. It is in the list as long as I have the config window open. As soon as I click ok and then open it again the list of the configs is empty.

How can I fix that?

 problems with X lib

Hello everyone!

I have some problems when i try to install it. when i type './configure' everything's go well (it works in the console for a while), but when it checks for X, it appears an error:

checking for vsnprintf... yes
checking for snprintf... yes
checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X libraries. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

I've been searching in adept manager and i can't find which exactly X libraries it needs to work, (because i think that all X libraries that the system needs are installed)

I hope someone can help me whit this.

Thanks a lot.

You need to install the development libraries. They have the same name but with a -dev added.

how can i fix this error?

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

I tried to install the headers, but i've got this error:

kdelibs4-dev: Depend: kdelibs4c2a (= 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-8) but 4:3.5.6.dfsg.1-1 is ready to be installed.

Every time I try to compile, I get and error:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

I have installed Qt 3.3.8 and qt-3.3.8-devel in the default paths(via Yum). Any ideas?

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
