Description:

This is a set of widget styles for Qt4/KDE4, KDE3 and Gtk2 based apps.

0.49 is the first version to have a Qt4/KDE4 port. This version may be compiled with just Qt4 - in which case the KDE4 control panel config dialog will not be built. See the INSTALL file for more details.

The fonts and colours for the GTK themes will be read in from your Qt settings - so any KDE font/colour changes will also affect your GTK apps.

**NOTE:** The Gtk3 release has been removed, as the Gtk theme API has changed!

NOTE: kde-look.org had a server crash, and the original QtCurve entry was deleted.

Changelog:

KDE4
====

1.8.14
------
1. Fix loading of kwin decoration/config under KDE4.9

KDE3
====

1.8.5
-----
1. Allow scrollbar sliders to be as thin as 5 pixels. At this setting, sliders will be squared.

Gtk2
====

1.8.16
------
1. fix memleak with newer versions of cairo.

 Gtk, tooltip text color

 by KDesk on: Mar 8 2012

Score 50%

Hi, the color text in the tooltips in Gtk2 apps are not respecting my settings. I have black background with white text, but tooltips appear with black text and background, as a black box.
Using QtCurve-Gtk2 version 1.8.14. I set the settings from System Settings (style & kcmgtk).

If I deselect "Apply colors to non-KDE4 applications" in the Options tab from "kcmshell4 colors", the tooltips have the right color, black background and white text. Odd but true.

I've had this setting cause issues before :-(

Anyway, QtCurve reads your KDE settings, so this 'Apply to non-KDE...' is not required.

Not gonna happen unless someone else volunteers. I no longer actively use QtCurve. If anyone wants to do this, I'd be happy to help as much as I can.

Is it possible to have the previous Gtk3 source code? I think that the API haven't changed so much

 Bug: Persistent underline in lists

 by seagreensky on: Apr 14 2012

Score 50%

If you set Rounding->Square or Rounding->Max Rounded all list views (like the file list in Dolphin) will have underlines under the current highlighted item. If any other Rounding setting is selected afterwards the underlines remain, with no way to get rid of them.

This is due to status/menubar hiding. I've implemented a GHB work-around for 1.8.15 - which I'll upload soon.

Is there a way to remove resize grip from the bottom right corner when borders are set to "No borders"?

I'm not sure if I will add any configure options at time soon but feel free to add an issue about this on github.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
 It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
 Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
 Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
 Gnome 3 default shell is much better
 I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
 None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
