Description:

"KDE Spectra" is my idea of how the next generation KDE should look like.

This one is still better.

This is a concept of a horizontal, smart and file-browser-like "K Menu" never seen before.
This menu should work just like normal menu, that is, select the items just by
hovering over them, this will ensure that there is no need to click until you reach your item. But there should be an option to make the items behave like buttons, that is, file-browser like behaviour.

This menu will give KDE its own unique style.

This is my first post on here. I just had to say that your whole idea looks awesome. I hope kde sees this and feels the same.

This is the most brilliant idea for a new KDE ALI that I've ever seen! Kudos to you and publish it on kde-artists forums!

really, this is the best option for K-Menu.
It is really handy, can be really good looking and it won't be cluttered when you have a lot of menu items!

One should really start coding this stuff :-)
When the KDE4 folks won't do it, maybe I will after my exams (still a month to go :-) )

cheers

 Good idea but...

I think that this menu is a good idea, but there's one thing that I don't really like : the size of the menu itself... This menu is really too huge, it takes almost half the screen's size!!

Is it possible to reduce it?

Bye, and keep it up!

I have to give the same response as I gave to your first menu suggestion, I don't see that you solve any problem with this solution.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
