I don't expect these to be too popular -- they're fairly small as far as KBFX buttons go. But, I was looking at my Kicker panel the other day, and realized that though I do love eyecandy and chubby, glowing fonts, I value screen space quite a bit when I'm working on something.

These are a sort of a compromise between conservative and eyecandy, I think. Weighing in at only 25 pixels tall, they're just big enough to gleam at you from across the room without dominating the view much (Try a kicker height of about 27 -- looks good). They could be smaller, but they aren't.

Anyway, they turned out to be exactly what I needed. Hopefully, they'll work for someone else, too. Besides, it was a magnificent excuse to whip together a spiffy, totally unnecessary graphical promo for 'em!

Boy, was that exciting. O_O

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
