This is just amazing! It needs to be done! It's a question of usability, and it would just simplify so many things.
And I fully agree to the Alt+F9 Thing for switching to the "extended view".

You're a genius. This may be the best new UI idea I've ever seen for KDE.

I often working with lots of ftp uploads and asked myself, if there won't be any nicer solution than moving several windows arround. Guess, I just found someone who made a mockup for what I was searching for. Great!

It's a wonderful idea to have every app submit it's progressbar to the same place. One click to check up on all my apps: transfers, mediaplayers, and installs.

Just great.

Also having the file-progress appear at the download location. It just makes sense.

If implemented, I think these will be 'killer' features that make people wonder how they did without them.

I want this!

Can someone make this for KDE3, let's say so it's finished yesterday?

Just kidding, but I like it that much

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
