This is uperb, innovative, cool and would REALLY set KDE4 miles away from competitors! To be honest I really doubt it will ever implemented but it's so damn cool and sexy!! Especially the progress bar in the Konqueror file view...great! Submit it to kde-artist.org if you haven't already done it!

I should hope that the KDE4 team looks at this. While, not only being an excellent idea this is the sort of thing that kde could implement faster and better than any other interface because:

A. KDE includes the most-used programs with the distrobution.

B. Because the programs are included and updated with the desktop, it would be relatively easy to have these programs interface with new tools/menus and integrate seamlessly.

C. KDE really needs a facelift and everyone knows it.

You should really post this on www.kde-artist.org. it goes perfectly with the ideas that aaron wants. PLasmoids and integration of superkaramba kicker and the decktop its really great. It goes perfeclty into plasma. Did you read Aaro J asegio commetns on kickker because they seem ti implemet his ideas quiet nice.

 Very good Idea

This is very interesting. Since I don't keep tons of icons on my desktops (only active items) it leaves plenty of room for informative dialogs like this. Very good idea.

This is definitely a case of "less is more". Good stuff. I like the subtle look of some of the mockups I've seen, though I hope they get even smoother and prettier ;) Style ! Gotta have style ! This is definitely the sort of thing I'd like to see in KDE4 (or even better of course). I agree with Tikal26, show it to Aaron. :)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
