Description:

kdm theme with win xp style.
similar as possible. if anyone knows how to make the password-field appearing with a mouseclick, please contact me.
would be nice to have it identically.
---------------------------------
Yes,- i know, linux is better than windows.
But there are people out there, who needs to be in a familiar environment when starting a computer.
For those people i made this theme.

Changelog:

''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
to put things right just from the beginning:
As long as there are unskilled people who wants linux looking similiar to XP,
there should be skilled people who make things looking similar to XP..

'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

Kde-Look sometimes doesn't handle the file in any way. So i have to post the direct link here:
http://home.wtal.de/psychologie/xon/winlogon.tar.gz

'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

BSD-Logo added: Thanks to A. S. Yatulchik

License:
kdm-themes are GPL.

All rights of the Window Logo belongs to Microsoft(c). The use of it, is only meant to be an example. Please change the gear.jpg after download.
If it breaks any law i do not know, please contact me immediately.

The Script code is based on the \"gear\" theme by Edward Nigma.

This is just wrong for so many reasons (the least of which it's ugly.) Linux is NOT Windows. Linux will never be Windows (thank goodness.) Sorry. Stop trying to fool yourself and others. Putting Windows' logon screen in front of an entirely different OS is just silly.

I don't understand... aren't we trying to make it different? aren't we trying to make a stand? windows sucks and we are still trying to imitate it? sorry, buy I don't get it! haven't we made at least one step forward? Don't get me wrong, your art is good, but its the concept underneath it which makes me sick.

If you're going to create a similar look, you should NOT use their logo. Aside from the fact that its owned by them, its also just about reprehensible to most everyone out there.

I appreciate the effort, but suggest dropping Microsoft Windows and the logo, and replacing it with K or something.

ouch !

really slim guys..
nevertheless, thanks for your opinion.
To make it clear: not everybody, coming from windows to linux, is born so tough and brained as you.
I guess, for the "dumb ones", who are caged in there habits it would be quite useful.

Feel free to blame something you wont understand, but also take the chance to honor the hour(s) of work i spent for it.

i often use a windows-like theme to irritate my roommate (he's a microsoft-programmer in training) and this will work well for that. nice job on the cloning

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
