I decided to remove the links to this project as I cannot stomach Windows(R) clones proliferating here, and hope that doing this may set an example. Do not copy! Create! I apologize for posting this originally, and hope the community can forgive me.

some people may want this, but I've always found Windows' UI to be horribly ugly.

i know imitation is supposed to be some form of flattery, but when it comes to desktop GUI; KDE, Gnome, Xfce, Window Maker, Enlightenment, Blackbox, and others definately definately beat M$ in the 'beauty' department.

i will however congratulate you on the effort to put the packages together. you might also have included the BSOD to make it all complete. ;)

Bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to free themselves from the shackels of mindless desktop experiences

Its funny you mentioned the BSOD because I was thinking about including the BSOD screensaver in the package but I wanted to keep it under 5 mb. This is, by the way, a novelty item. This is for poking fun at Micro$haft--I believe KDE is far superior to Winblows, so making it look like it is like playing Doom in textmode. It is purely for fun :)

I would absolutely never want my kde desktop to look like those screen shots...
But wow! An incredibly great impostor!
Good job for the high quality work by those responsible for this atrocity...

:-)

I'm not follower of such projects. I installed linux because I dont want to see win GUI. But in other hand you have made great effort and it's far the best Windows GUI for KDE I've ever seen. Good Work

As Linux is all about choices I guess this is another choice that some may want. It could be perfect when you wipe out that family windows machine in favor for Linux but don't want your wife to go bananas.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
