Description:

This is a mockup, obviously. I tried to obtain something a bit more polished than what we can see today on our desktops.
I focused on a new style (if anyone is interested to code it tell me since I can't code) and on the way a filebrowser could work.

(the only artworks not by me in the pic are the icq and jabber icons, I wish to thanks their authors)

Please... a mockup is just a picture, an idea, nothing else.

 Nice but...

Nice work, I like the simplicity and cleanliness but I see at least 2 things I don't like:

- this wastes some of my precious screen area, too much spacing and framing and other unecessary gizmo. The balance between "waisting space" and cluttered is a difficult one. you've done a nice job but I believe there is more to do.

- completely useless preview (as in the other konqueror mockup). if you icons already show the image/ps/xxx and they are HUGE and you put a frame around it and then you add spacing around the whole thingy, you could as well have showed it directely.

I did like the borderless style very much as well as the nicely choosen colors.

it's a decent idea similar to gnome's, but I can't help thinking of the "create communicate configure" menu spelled in the standard KDE fashion "kreate kommunicate konfigure"... kkk? uh-oh!

I hope the KDE developers are seeing this! This is sooooo great! Wonderful! The best thing I've ever seen!

Please, KDE 4 MUST look like this!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
