 Problem with scaling

Moodwrod.

My Kubuntu Ultra theme is rather resolution dependent since it matches my KDM theme I would prefer if it wouldn't scale at all. I've tried to include resolution specific backgrounds in my theme so that scaling doesn't occur at common resolutions, but this doesn't seem to prevent the engine from scaling the fonts, background and icons.

It would be nice if there was a way to disable scaling altogether for themes that it doesn't work well with.

Hello, I'd like to know if it is possible to add an animated image in a moodin theme such as a gif or a mng.

 fuzzy icons

Love this splash screen.

For Moodin I'm still trying a few settings, but with the default 64 icon size the rendering is more "fuzzy" than I would have thought. Especially the first gears icon.

I'm using 1600x1200 for the desktop and not sure if there is some resizing going on with the 1280x1024 splash screen.

 Gentoo ebuild

Here is the ebuild for gentoo users:
http://gmud.org/ebuilds/ksplash-engine-moodin-0.4.2.ebuild

If you are new to Gentoo:

If you haven't set a portage overlay dir then add this line to your /etc/make.conf:

PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage"

Place ebuild in
/usr/local/portage/kde-misc/ksplash-engine-moodin

# ebuild ksplash-engine-moodin-0.4.2.ebuild digest

# emerge -av kde-misc/ksplash-engine-moodin

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
