This is a Keramik style&deco. with transkicker-keramik.patch (by teax).

 Gentoo install

by akaneo on: Jul 9 2002

Score 50%

Has anybody installed this on Gentoo 1.2? The install shell script reads that I'm using Autoconf 2.13, I have emerged the newest version of autoconf (2.53a), however it still emerges 2.13 together with 2.53a.

I managed to compile and install Keramic for KDE 3.0.1 on Solaris 7 (soon KDE 3.0.2). I am using keramic for window decoration and liquid as the style with the crystal icon theme and am very pleased!

There were some issues getting it to properly compile, though. It would be nice if a configure script were included as autoconf doesn't seem to work properly in our environment.

I kept getting the warning

/admin/cvs.sh: !: not found

when trying to configure it.

Crash on close is huge drawback from what would otherwise be the baddest ass theme out for kde3. Seems stable except for this and great eye candy.

I am using Slack 8.0, KDE 3.0.2 (compiled from source), automake 1.5, gcc 2.95.3

Outstanding job. The transparent kicker looks wonderful. I even thought I'd tweak the transparency a little bit :) Thanks a bunch, and keep up the great work!

I successfully installed keramik on a SUSE 8.0 Professional node. But am unable to get the kicker function to work.

Has anyone been successful on getting the kicker to respond on the SuSE distro yet?

Hi,
Please write step by step how you installed this theme.
I use S8, KDE3.0, but when I "run", bad command, this is the message what I get.

Thanks in advance!

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
