Description:

Exquisite is a port of the Xp_Mad icon set created byMimin Ladha. Additional icons by Ghast (action icons) were added to complete the icon set, but additinal releases will follow. This icon set uses a modified version of the build script created by Nick Bargnesi. As a result, the download is only 2 MB instead of 10 MB(Yes, I still have love for 56k users). The only tools required to create the entire icon set are bzip, tar, and convert (ImageMagik). Unpackage the Exquisite.tar.bz2 compressed file and run the included script buildset (./buildset - for newbies). Afterwards, use the Kcontrol center to install the icon set. Please provide some feed back about the icon set. I hope most people like it. If not, give me a good vote anyway :-)

Changelog:

Added a link to download an alternative Konsole and Xterm Icon - Removing the C: - you guys really do hate Microsoft don't you.

Now normally, this would be the part were I would go back off on you with a tiraid that matches the one in your previous post, however, because this is the Christmas season, I'm just going to say that I'm sorry my package has caused you such grief. I created the script which builds this icon set, because free webspace comes at a premium these days. Once this package is fully built, it is very large, and I just cant spare the space. You may be corect in saying that Linux is far from being mainstream because of scripts and the requirment that you have to know a little about computing, but, an educated user is a better user, so if you take the time to learn something, it can only help you. There's not mush else I can say other than if you absoultely can't build the full icon set, send me an email, and I'll find some space for the fully built set for you to download. Have a merry Christmas, and know that both God and I love you and wish you the very best. Meeeeeeeeeeeeeery Christmas and a happy New Year

How DARE you taking people with low bandwidth connections into consideration? How can you be so cruel? Also, I find it appalling that you actually expect the user to be able to read and expect that they'll actually are capable of thinking.

It's much easier for such 'tards to install icons in Windows, you know, 'cause then they can get their "über geek" cousin to do it for them... Something tells me that the person "complaining" wasn't the same one who complained about the Konsole icon. ;)

BTW, happy new year :)

I suppose I could add new icons, but I think I'm going to work on OS-L first. I am going to update the Konqueror button icons in the next couple of days so look for the update.

Create a folder called Exquisite and download the build kit to this folder. Extract the contents using ark (extract utility) or in a terminal issue the following command -> cd Directory_name, followed by -> tar -xvjf Exqusite.tar.bz2. Once all the files have been extracted run the build script by typing the following command in the terminal -> ./buildset

After the Exqusite icon Package is built by the script, install the icons using the KDE icon center. The fully built Equisite icon package will be larger that the compressed package containing the icon build kit.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
