Great stuff.
Like oxygen-appmenu, this should really be an official part of KDE

great widget indeed! I would like to do as the video but would need to know:

- where did you get the default oxygen icons from? I tried to find them to put in custom icons but I couldn't

- how to hide the window area where the app icon, name and kwin buttons?

Thanks in advance

go to kwinrc file and set
BorderlessMaximizedWindows=true

This feature is buggy.

As of KDE 4.7 (and maybe earlier) there's now a UI option so you don't have to manually add "BorderlessMaximizedWindows=true" to kwinrc. Just un-check the following option:

System Settings -> Window Behavior -> Window Behavior -> Display borders on maximized windows

Oops, I meant:

System Settings -> Window Behavior -> Window Behavior -> Moving -> Display borders on maximized windows

that option isn't working on my kde4.8, even after "kwin --replace"

here's howto for disabling border/window-decorator when maxymalized:
http://hanschen.org/2010/04/01/hide-window-border-for-maximized-windows/

ps: thanks for your work. great job;)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
