 fast and smooth

I just tried kooldock after I have been messing around with kxdocker, which has some good ideas, but is far from stable, whereas kooldock is much less beta.
The only thing missing is a plugin interface (like kxdocker agein :) ), but I see that's already on your TODO.

Continue the great work!

 Do you know this?

Hi There,

your tool looks great. I must have it but there is one problem. Doing a make brings this error:

Can't locate object method "path" via package "Autom4te::Request" at /usr/bin/autom4te line 81, line 116.
make: *** [configure] Fehler 1

Do you know any help?

Go some postings back and do not ask already solved questions ;-)

To mess up a Linux box, you need to work at it; to mess up your Windows box, you just need to work on it.

wow -- in that video KDE / KoolDock was running blazingly fast. i'm a bit jealous

May I ask --

What hardware do you have on that machine?

and I see you're using Debian (wlalpaper), what version/fork of debian are you using?

//standsolid//
now, that's what I call butter!

That was my machine
It's a Athlon XP 2200+
512 MB DDR

And I'm using debian sid/experimental
also, I found that wallpaper at themedepot.org

I thought it looked kind of sluggish in the video. I am running on a P4 3.06ghz with hyperthreading, 1gb ddr RAM. My kooldock takes up most (90%) of my screen, and I can fly across it with the mouse, and it is really smooth.
Very good work!!!

 issues on ver-0.2

1st: the separator is moving if I move the mouse over some icons. That makes sense since the dock width varies depending on the current number of zoomed icons. But why does the separator move even if the icons next to it remain statically?

2nd:
If I use kooldock to minimize/maximize windows everything works fine. But: If I use the 'minimize' button of the window manager then there is no thumbnail view of the window. (no notification if it is minimized or not at all) Moreover, after doing that, only the half of kooldock will be shown - ???? - Kooldock is only usable again when I restore the window settings of the minimized window. (I think somebody else already mentioned this)

3rd: Please: Give me an option 'show windows of current desktop only' In the 'Show windows on all desktops' mode you should also show the desktop where this window is on.

Regards

You are missing a shared library, check this:

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
