After the restart you'll have the Personas skin and Oxygen KDE applied at the same time.(Now your settings will be kept even after a restart of the browser) Repeat the above steps to apply another Personas skin and Oxygen KDE.

:: How to hide the title bar of Firefox in KDE

1. Open System Settings
2. Go to Workspace appearance --> Configure Decoration --> Window-Specific Ovverrides
3. Look for Exceptions related to Firefox and edit it ... If there isn't create it using these values :

-To hide the title bar of all windows related to Firefox

Matching window property : Window Class Name
Regular expression to match : Firefox

-To hide only the title bar of the main window of firefox (recommended)

Matching window property : Window Title
Regular expression to match : Mozilla Firefox

4. Check "Hide window title bar"
5. Now the Firefox title bar will be hidden . Now you may need the buttons min.max, close or drag to control the window. Customize the toolbars in Firefox and you'll find these new toolbar buttons.

 help

Score 50%

Could you help me a bit please?

My Firefox window doesn't look like that I can see on the sample pictures.
The color sheme doesn't fit to the window boarder:

http://noob.hu/2010/04/27/2_2.png

With "oxygen" stylish it is worse. I use "qtcurve" to GTK+ styles in KDE appereance settings, and I use firefox 3.6.3 with KDE 4.4.2.

This is not individual case, the preview versions of this firefox themes looks like this in my snapshot.

any ideas? sorry for my bad English...

yes other users have the same problem too ... but here is the solution :

System Settings --> Appearance --> Colors --> Select tab "Options"

You have to change the settings like the screenshot :

http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/8568/shading.png

Specially the shading setting! Apply and it will be fine !

You have to configure your window decoration in systemsettings too. Look at this screenshot:

Unfortunately in German language, but you should also may recognize.

From that screenshot : http://noob.hu/2010/04/27/4_1.png

remove at all Firefox from the "regular expression to match" ... now you have :

(Firefox)|(Thunderbird)|(Gimp)

so after removing Firefox you should have :

(Thunderbird)|(Gimp)

Are you sure you´re using the correct colours?

The Standard colour Scheme from the Firefox theme is `Oxygen Cold`, if you want to use it, you have to deactivate any Color Schemes in Stylish and choose `Oxygen Cold` in Systemsettings > Colors.

If you want use `Oxygen` you have to activate `Oxygen Colour Scheme` in Stylish and choose `Oxygen` in Sysztemsettings > Colors.

It looks like you combine the wrong color schemes with each other.

 progress bars broken

 by ademmer1977 on: Apr 28 2010

Score 50%

Progress bars are broken, if they have a very narrow height. Unfortunally, lots of addons use progress bars with less then 20 px height, e.g. XMarks (sync dialog on browser shutdown) or Splash (FF loading progress splash screen).

This is not a major issue but it would be cool, if this could be fixed. Shall I look into this issue and see if I can come up with a fix?

The progress bar is not moving (I suspect that we only see the bar container and the bar itself is hidden). The left and right borders are messed up, too.

 Tiny nitpick

Nice improvements in 1.14! However, I have a (very!) tiny nitpick: The tab bar baseline extends a little bit too far to the left of the leftmost tab.

Change the value to "tiny" :D

No, it's not the border size. On my first screenshot, I even had the bookmarks sidebar opened next to the tab bar, so it can't be the window border.

But I think we're talking about different things. The baseline is the line that runs along the length of the tab bar, below and next to inactive tabs. The bug - a small bug - is that it extends further beyond the leftmost tab than it does in Oxygen.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
