 Only request...

Only feature request... a beautiful OSD and Bangarang control.

After that, please, kill KMix for good! THIS ROCKS! And also it happens that with KDE 4.6 KMix is absolutely broken with Pulse, so you win!

Per default bangarang is on the ignore-list (see veromix-settings "Media Player Controls") - last time I checked it, bangarang was not working:

Please try to remove bangarang from the "ignore list". If the controls then don't work, you can try to add org.mpris.bangarang to the list of "mpris2 Media-players"... if it is still not working, you should report a bug against bangarang, because almost all other players work... If it works please tell me, so I can remove bangarang from the ignore-list.

@OSD: I noted the your wish here: http://code.google.com/p/veromix-plasmoid/issues/detail?id=48

Great work on this; it really should be the default on Pulse-enabled systems. Do you think you could add an option for disabling the popup tooltip on volume changes (so that fullscreen Flash windows don't close whenever you change the volume)?

 This thing is SO awesome!

Just the lags in some transitions annoy sometimes but that is entirely Plasma’s fault since it happens elsewhere (network management plasmoid for example) as well.

Just one minor thing: Is it possible you implement some queries about the application’s name that is displayed in the list?
FOr example instead of „knotify: Playback Stream” it should say “System Notifications” with an appropriate kde icon.

And the player controls are awesome but when there is no Album cover displayed there should either be a generic CD case icon (like Amarok uses) or no free space, but now there is a lot of wasted space which makes the player controls being left alone somewhere :)

 Some layout issues...

by CraigD on: Jun 13 2011

The textual description overlaps the 'thumb' of the slider:
http://imagebin.org/158011

The popup menu of the 'default sink' combo is clipped:
http://imagebin.org/158012

Also. perhaps 'default output' would be more user-friendly than 'default sink'?

ok - not shure if I can do something about it (the old implementation was much less performant, so I don't wanna go back)

Is it just?. the latest version defaults to non monochrome icon. However when I remove it and add it again it uses the monochrome icon until the next restart

I hope you can someday integrate pulseaudio equalizer in this plasmoid.

Thank you very much!
I've had to reboot after installing Veromix, and also uninstall "pulseaudio-equalizer" for some conflicts. I have no problem with plasma-desktop I had mentioned on page 10. Then I'll do more tests and I will report you if I have any problem. Thanks!

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
