Description:

A plasma theme to fit in with bespin.

any insults very welcome!

features:

-follows color scheme from kde color center.
-fits in with bespin

...it\\\'s still very incomplete and not final
design so.... oh, and it\\\'s made under kde-svn
so not sure if it will work in stable.

It has been brought to my attention
that this theme does not work in stable (4.3)

Changelog:

6.1
-new widgets: pager, buttons, some other
minor widgets
-bugs: inkscape didn't let me set the
active hovered element id's to selected+hover so it renders nothing
when hovering an active view element, anybody know why?
-full screenshot: http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/5906/shoty.png

31.12
-fixes: tasks follows color scheme now
-full shot: http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/5256/shots.png

Sorry, I have no time to make a dark ss

30.12
-minor overall improvements.
-full shot:

(the clock in the shot is beclock)

21.12
-made the clock easier to understand.
-improved tasks and tray.
-new widgets: progressbar, made this
one real minimalistic as I didn't manage
to get a advanced looking to be good
at small size (check out the playwolf
in the panel for confirmation).
-full screenshot: http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/3269/shotg.png

03.12 -fixed a glitch in a frame.
-new widgets: sliders

30.11, -new clock (includes desing ideas
of Thomas Lübking)
-new bg's now follow color scheme.
-overall design improvements, actually spended some time on making this
release. Thx to Thomas for good guidelines!

The system tray was better in the last one. Same for the clock. Just my opinion.

Thx!

uhm.... dunno what to tell, theme is
bespin / tibanna obviously...

the plasmoids on desktop are standard ones
that come with kde. The panels are plasma
panels, oh, and I use the panelshadows
plasmoid to draw shadows on panel.

The icon theme is nmfnms, it's in the making
with thomas and david.

really not sure what you wanna know, it's
really a very standard kde desktop :)

hope this helps!

//Robert

Ic, heh... the bespin config was just like
5 clicks to make a dark config.... I didn't
save it as it was only for the screenshot.
I don't use a dark config.

with the wall I can help you out tho :D

Well, just wanted to congratulate you on the update, fixes (finally) the glitch that was killing me. I'll try to get the aliases done by this weekend, hopefully.

Kind regards!

Thx man!

Yeah, I'm sorry bout not having been of
much help with the icon theme lately...
...preoccupied with school and the plasma-theme.

It would be nice to have a "working" set
before 4.4 is officially out.

I got a lot of exams in school this week
and stuff I gotta take care of.

Found anything you'd like to have changed
in plasma-theme?

 Icons

Just tought i'l let you guys know, The icon theme is ready for use and we'll apprecciate feedback. We understand is not a conventional icon theme, but that's why we want to get your toughts.
Is still under heavy development, but is at least, usable.

To get it, perform:

svn co https://cloudcity.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/cloudcity

in a konsole, and that will checkout the current rev of bespin. In there, there is an icons folder. TO get the icontheme do:

$cd icons
$./generate_kde_icons.sh

and copy the nmfnms folder to ~/yourusername/.kde4/share/icons

or the icon folder for your distro. Note that you can also compress the nmfnms folder and install it via the preferences dialog.

Cheers!

-David

Could you please make a separate submission with a preview? It will get you more testers/feedback, and wont interfere with the plasma theme feedback.

I am testing them now.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
