by visiongnu on: May 6 2004

Score 50%

when I start karamba with this theme
I get the following error:

/bin/bash: command not found sensors

because I don't have lm_sensors, well, I think so

But how can i install te lm_sensors?

I tried to install it typing
emerge lm_sensors

but i get the following:

emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "/usr/portage/sys-apps/lm-sensors".

!!! Error calculating dependencies. Please correct.

create a new file in ~/.kde/Autostart/ called karamba.sh and make it executable (chmod 700)

add these 2 lines:

#!/bin/sh
karamba /path/to/your/theme/file.theme &

 Problem with mail

by tomjas on: May 18 2004

Score 50%

Hello.
Now I'm testing cynapses and I noticed some problem in mail module - the first one is that "ps ax" shows all logins and passwords. The second is that on one server (poczta.onet.pl) program marked all my news as new (unread) and, moreover, doesn't show any new mails from that server.
Best regards.
tomjas

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
