 Great theme

This is probably the best Karamba theme I've seen, it's really nice. Great work.

One question - is it possible to have the mail check component look at a local mailbox ( /var/mail/xxxx) rather than a pop3 server?

Phil.

 Ram values

gladiac,
I see in your screenshot you have Ram and swap Total values of 1013 and 1012 MB.

Mine are similar with being 503 (RAM) and 502 (swap).
However I do have 512MB RAM in my box. (And a swap partition of ~500MB)

Any ideas what is going on? Why doesn't this reflect my 512MB DDR RAM stick?

Hy,

To display the cpu, fan's etc...
You must install lm_sensor.tar or rpm.
Then in the sys_mon.theme.

Change this : (It's for my ASUS A7Nx-8x) :!
################################################################################
# Sensor CPU-Temperature
# "type" depends on your mainboard
# range is up to 70 degrees celsius. change 'max' value if needed.

text x=10 y=30 value="CPU" color=255,255,255 align=left fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"
bar x=50 y=30 w=100 h=5 vertical=false path="img/bar.png" sensor=program program="/usr/bin/sensors | grep '+' | grep '+60' -m 1 | cut -d + -f2 | cut -d ° -f1" max=70
text x=180 y=30 sensor=program program="/usr/bin/sensors | grep '+' | grep '+60' -m 1 | cut -d + -f2 | cut -d \( -f1" format="%v °C" align=right color=255,255,255 fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"

################################################################################
# Sensor Fan (CPU)
# "type" depends on your mainboard
# range is up to 5000 rpm. change 'max' value if needed.

text x=10 y=45 value="Fan" color=255,255,255 align=left fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"
bar x=50 y=45 w=100 h=5 vertical=false path="img/bar.png" sensor=program program="/usr/bin/sensors | grep 'CPU Fan:' | cut -d : -f2 | cut -d R -f1" max=6000
text x=180 y=50 sensor=program program="/usr/bin/sensors | grep 'CPU Fan:' | cut -d : -f2 | cut -d \( -f1" format="%v " align=right color=255,255,255 fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"

################################################################################
# Sensor Chassis-Temperature
# "type" depends on your mainboard
# range is up to 70 degrees celsius. change 'max' value if needed.

text x=10 y=70 value="Motherboard" color=0,0,0 align=left fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"
bar x=50 y=69 w=100 h=5 vertical=false path="img/bar.png" sensor=program program="/usr/bin/sensors | grep 'M/B Temp:' | cut -d + -f2 | cut -d \( -f1" color=0,0,0 align=right fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"

################################################################################
# Sensor Fan (Chassis)
# "type" depends on your mainboard
# range is up to 5000 rpm. change 'max' value if needed.

text x=10 y=85 value="Fan" color=0,0,0 align=left fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"
bar x=50 y=85 w=100 h=5 vertical=false path="img/bar.png" sensor=sensor type="fan2" max=5000

1) What is the original theme?
2) Does it have anything to do with seti@home usage monitoring (only a command line client for linux users)?
3)Where can i find it?

thank you very much in advance.

great theme, looks great. Useful!

I'm still a newbie so i have to ask:
is it possible to display how many new
mails you got in (for exampel) linuxmail
or hotmail? It would be wonderful. (oh
yes i'm using hotmail, shame on me! :P)

keep on with great work!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
