1. About CPU temp: You install lm_sensors, and you write in themeconfig:

################################################################################
# Sensor CPU-Temperature
# "type" depends on your mainboard
# range is up to 70 degrees celsius. change 'max' value if needed.

text x=10 y=30 value="CPU" color=0,0,0 align=left fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"
bar x=50 y=30 w=100 h=5 vertical=false path="img/bar.png" sensor=program interval=10000 program="/path/to/sensors | grep '+' | grep '+60' -m 1 | cut -d + -f2 | cut -d ° -f1" max=90
text x=180 y=30 sensor=program interval=10000 program="/path/to/sensors | grep '+' | grep '+60' -m 1 | cut -d + -f2 | cut -d \( -f1" format="%v °C" align=right color=0,0,0 fontsize=10 font="nimbus sans l"

it works on my asus A7V-333

Slackware, cause it works.

there should be some kind of a background color in the design since on dark wallpapers this is useless however i rather like it

 Gentoo issues

 by Shienarier on: Jul 25 2004

I have noticed that this theme isn't very "Gentoo aware".
The first thing i noticed was that i didn't have an /sbin/ip, so i used
/sbin/ifconfig instead. Which the theme uses for the network load part anyway.
Here is the code for using ifconfig instead:
program="/sbin/ifconfig eth0|grep inet|cut -d : -f2|cut -d ' ' -f1"

Then i noticed that my linux release name was way to long so i shortened it with this:
DISTRO=`cat /etc/gentoo-release|cut -d ' ' -f1-2,5`

If you don't have /sbin/ip and don't want to use /sbin/ifconfig you can install iproute2 (emerge iroute2)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
