Dear Reflektions fans, if you enjoy my work and this icon theme, please konsider making a donation
with Paypal to linuxfever@yahoo.gr :)

This is a version of the KDE4 port of the "Reflektions"icons.

This icon theme is a compilation of a few icon themes and a few sparse icons
found on www.deviantart.com and www.kde-look.org, as well as a few that I made on my own. It is not complete yet
but hopefully (in time) it will be.

The installation requires you run the included script. You MUST have the command "convert" available which is part of
imagemagick. You must also have the "tar" package installed. Make sure you have
both of the packages installed before you run the script.

1) Extract the downloaded file

2) cd Reflektions_KDE4/

3) click on click_to_install

The systray icons of KDE 4.5 series use by default the plasma-theme icons, which do not match the Reflektions set.
If you wish to have this theme's systray icons, follow the instructions that will pop out after the script has run.

*** FIREFOX ***

I have created a stylish script for firefox 4 (only) which will make it use your current KDE icon set. See here for more details:

I have uploaded my conky config file -- rename it to .conkyrc and put it on your home folder. You will definitely have to make some changes to adjust the configuration to your monitor.

The weather forecast requires a bit of work to get it working. Instructions can be found here:

 A problem

Hello. I really like Reflektions icons, but I have a little problem with them.

When using Reflektions icons in some Qt-based programs (such as Clementine, Arora, QupZilla) appear strange, very large icons (see screenshot on http://www.stud.umk.pl/~k.koziol/screen.png). With Oxygen icons this problem does not appear.

What could be the cause, and how to fix this?

That is strange. I just installed qupzilla but I do not see this huge icon. Could you try to remove the Reflektions theme completely and then reinstall it? I really do not know what could cause this problem in your computer...

Ktorrent, printer applet, and korganizer already have systray icons. They are not in SVG format as the rest, but they do fit well in the system tray.

Unfortunately, skype tray icon is hardcoded which means that unless skype developers do something about it, we will be stuck with that awful skype icon in the tray.

VLC and smplayer icons are also hardcoded (I think) but they can be changed provided you build the applications from scratch. You would need to replace all the icons and then compile.

Sorry for the late reply.

To uninstall dropbox:

- go to $HOME/.dropbox-dist/icons/hicolor/16x16/
- replace icons in "status" with icons in "status.old"

To uninstall systray icons

- go to /usr/share/kde4/apps/desktoptheme/default/
- replace icons in "icons" with icons in "icons.old"
- replace icons in "widgets" with icons in "widgets.old"

You will need to log out of KDE for the changes to take effect.

really nice theme :) Could be the great icon theme instead of monochrome by KDE :)

I have 2 notices, Clementine status icon still remains coloured, even icon when window is active. Launcher and passive element remains in good condition.

Same with chromium.

It would be really cool, if you also convert kalarm icon, audacity, virtualbox, bluefish, filezilla, opera, LinuxDC++ and actually many of icons needs to be done, but anyway, thanks for a nice icon set :)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
