Description:

Well, this isn't very original, but here goes:
I hacked together an IceWM version of the 'Crux' gtk theme. It's blue, and it goes quite well with the Eazel-blue style from Aronnax. This is based off the Eazel-blue IceWM theme by Oleastre.
It needs some work, but here's what I got so far.

Enjoy.

Changelog:

Version .03 - *Added a grey version. Now archive contains "Crux-blue" and "Crux-blue-tan". Fun with Saturation. :)

Version .02 - *Changed grey areas to tan, because grey is boring :)
*Updated buttons to look better
*Made MenuButton larger, to accomodate icons

Version .01 - Release

 A lot of buttons!

I like the style, I use Crux most of the time in Gnome (on the rare occasions I use it, heresy I know ;) and am glad you've done this for KDE.

But: too many buttons. I don't know how to make IceWM decorations, if I did I would fix it myself, would it be possible for you to do a version that _only_ has Minimize | Maximize | Close in the top right? Even better would be a version with Close moved over to the top-left.

Just a suggestion, based on my preferences. Course, you could get around this by making a KDE-native version of the decoration... :)

Anyway, good work.

Actually, this is configurable - at least in KDE 2.2.1. Go to COntrol Center->Look & Feel->Window Decoration. There is a Buttons tab that lets you control which buttons appear. However, it looks like the 'help' and 'spacer' buttons don't work for IceWM themes, or i don't know how to make them work :).
I wanted to make this a kde theme, but it looks like you gotta write c to do that. Plus, there don't seem to be any good documentation to explain how you do it. Pixmaps are nice 'n easy :).

I didn't think you could do that with IceWM decorations! I knew you could with native ones, but not IceWM. I'll try that out today then, thanks. :)

I liked the grey a lot better than the tan, went with my desktop better. Any chance of having both, maybe in the same archive?

Thank you very much for bringing this to KDE. I've always liked this window decoration in GNOME.

Btw, I can see that several window decorations on kde-look are made for IceWM and not native KWin. What are the advantages of making them for IceWM? Just curious.

With icewm, you just have to edit pixmaps. As far as I can tell, you have to do programming to make a kde theme.

Wow, i've seen this window decoration in screenshot pictures even before i ever used Linux myself, and i always REALLY liked the look of it, i'm glad that someone made one for KDE, because i'm not as fond of Gnome :-P

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
