Hi, This is a great plasmoid, i'm just wondering if its possible to get the new kmenu plasmoid or the normal kmenu item on the bar? The default icon opens dolphin. It would be nice to be able to do this. Thanks

Sure, will be adding that option possibly for next release.
That icon can currently be useful to drag and drop applications to the dock.

Hi,

It would be simpler to read and edit plain .desktop files, but Daisy uses special launchers as we need to know one important entry for the application (the alias). Also, it needs to have an entry for the action launcher.
What do you miss having in the Daisy launchers? The workpath entry?
Regards.

indeed, i need the work path entry. i thought it would be possible to implement this launcher settings.

sorry that i wasnt clear. what i need is just the work path to launch wine applications with daisy.

thanks and best regards,

 Locked/unlocked plasmoids

Hi,

when the plasmoids are unlocked and you start a program which shows up in daisy, the dock gets enlarged in a symmetric way with respect to the screen corners (when "Floating" is not activated). Unfortunately, when plasmoids are locked, it just gets enlarged on one side.
Is it possible to have the same behaviour no matter if the plasmoids are locked or unlocked?

Currently I don't think it's possible to bypass that option in Plasma. The dock can only auto-center when the widgets are unlocked.

This is a feature that could be included in Plasma, the ability to bypass locked widgets.

Regards.

Hi,

That picture is a painting from Leonid Afremov, an unorthodox painter that employs a palette knife to paint.

You can see some more of his work at his webpage: http://afremov.com/

The picture in the screenshot can be found here: http://i36.tinypic.com/ao6yd0.jpg

Regards.

Hello, there is a ppa for (K)Ubuntu.

Open a terminal. Then type:

sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list.

Then add the following lines:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/samrog131/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/samrog131/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

and save.

Then type in a Console:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install plasma-widget-daisy

Right click on your Desktop, add widget and search for daisy and click add. Thats it.

Works fine for me in Ubuntu 9.10 KDE 4.3

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
