Is it a containment now?

It is defined as a containment, but it's not a real one, just a regular applet. I'm currently having some issues in turning it into a real containment. Will put it on CVS today, should be faster to implement, with the work of all that want to help.
Regards.

Looking forward for that. I think that it would be cool, to add other plasmoids to daysi. If it's a dock, so you could like have pager, quickaccess, etc.

True. Sure beats doing all of those from scratch and including them on Daisy, when those plugins are already available for Plasma. At first I was thinking of doing just that (trash plugin as an example), but it's a lot more work. Containment choice is prefered.

 funcionality

is it possible to add a launcher to your applet on which when i'm clicking, it opens a program (i.e. konqueror) and when i click on it again, it minimizes or shows the window back, just like it works in avant windows navigator. i'd like to use daisy instead of plasma panel with tasks manager. maybe it is implemented, but somehow it doesn't work for me ? ( or i don't know how to do it..)

That's what Daisy is about. Its launchers are hybrid, that means launchers can open the application or control the task when the application is already running. What isn't working for you? When you click the home launcher it doesn't open your home folder? By default that launcher is configured for konqueror but you can change it to work with dolphin if you prefer that file manager. Regards.

when I click that launcher, it opens a window, when I click again, it opens another windows. that's no good.

What launcher are you refering to?
Launcher for an application needs to be correctly configured to detect the running application. Also update to the latest version. Regards.

im very impressed by how often you update your project. its great... any time frame on when you will implement the ability to cover application windows? i know you said it would take time, so im just curious.

That feature is a big (and very important) TODO. I'm currently experimenting with the implementation. It will take some time, can't be precise on when it will be available.

One of the main reasons why I'm updating it so often is to get feedback for newly implemented options, and the usual bug reports. :)

Regards.

Your rpm doesn't work. I'm getting Daisy in the list, but when I want to add it, it says it is impossible since there is no such plasmoid. And yes, I restarted plasma.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
