...this definitely needs more attention.

KDE3.x was always missing this feature. But this is the way forward to KDE4.x theming.

someone will create a theme for this great engine.
I suck at graphics stuff, but I might give it a try too :-)

Thanks for your great work so far!

It's a pity to don't use your quantumstyle.. i'm absolutely not a graphic expert but.. is there a sample svg somewhere, just to start playing with it?

 gtk2 and kde3 ports

if you or someone can also make gtk2 and kde3 ports of quantumstyle, and probably a svg-based window decoration framework, then it will be the future.

I second the motion on this one. QtCurve is the only theme that currently does this, and it is the only one I use since it is the only way the get all my programs to be perfectly consistent.

I followed your instructions to create a theme, but I can't get it to show up in systemsettings...

Once I figure that I'd be happy to make some themes :D

i haven't tried it but according to readme: Make QuantumStyle use your theme by setting the entry "theme=yourtheme" in ~/.config/QuantumStyle/quantumstyle.qsconfig

yea, ~/.config/QuantumStyle/quantumstyle.qsconfig didn't exist (installed from AUR), so I assumed I was supposed to create it?

Yes. Currently Quantum is missing a config dialog. So until it is finished (i.e. more people get interested in it :)), setting the current theme is manual :/

I think there is healthy interest. Please do add a config dialog. This style in tandem with the AURORAe kwin4 theme has potential for some great stuff.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
