but, please add few more functionalities:
1. Capability to add folders (search the selected folder for music files and then append it to the Noatun)

2. Not only mp3 files but others as well. e.g. wav, ape, wma, flac etc.

Owning computers nowadays is a bit like having a pet rabbit,
It needs to be fed with right stuff or it gets sick.

Try Firefox [http://www.mozilla.com/firefox] --- the right stuff!

Thank you for adding more supports. This is a little but quite useful utility. I checked and it is working great (well, it provides a replacement of "play folder with Winamp" in Windows). This is going great but I still have few more suggestions:

1. The play list is added only of the Noatun is running. If it is possible, please add a support even if the Noatun is currently not running. By adding new files to the playlist, the Noatun should start automatically and start playing the newly added files.

2. Although the support is currently for mp3, ogg, and wave files, please add supports for media types which is supported my Noatun (including video-file like .avi)

3. The file-types are checked based on the extension of the file-name. For example, if I rename abcd.wma to abcd.mp3, right click gives an option "add to noatun". It would be better if you do the file-type checking based on meta-data, rather than its extension.

and at last,

4. Installation for everyone (i.e. putting the file addtonoatunplaylist.sh should be put to somewhere in $PATH e.g. /usr/local/bin with permission 755 and the AddToNoatunPlaylist.desktop file to /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus). I did it after modifying the AddToNoatunPlaylist.desktop a little, but please add it natively.

Thank you.

I think your application will become damn useful to everyone if you add the aforementioned functionalities.

Please keep the good work up.

good luck!!

There is something about noatun! It plays files based on their extension. so when one changes the file extemsion noatun will not play the file!

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
