Unity Ambiance:
Like Ubuntu's Ambiance.

Available in 2 versions.
Unity Ambiance – transparent widget background and dialog background
Unity Ambiance classic – opaque widget background and dialog background

This is one of the KDE plasma themes especially made for the settings to imitate the appearance of Ubuntu's Unity with KDE Homerun Launcher, Window Menubar and Icon-Only Task Manager.

«Unity Ambiance», «Unity Radiance», «Excalibur» and «Doomsday» are variations of top/bottom-panels transparency/opaque and colours but with always transparent side-panels if desktop effects are enabled.

If you want the whole Unity excperience you have to change the standard-settings described inside the folder.
Of course you can use these themes with standard-settings too.

Tested with KDE 4.14.

Instead of the button widget you may use Yet Another Window control, which is highly configurable, provides window buttons and window title.

Forgive my ignorance, but how did you configure homerun to show all the categories on the left in the applications view?

Hi, the categories on the left are only available in KDE 4.11. If you have upgraded from KDE 4.10 to KDE 4.11 and it is not showed, try to open Homerun and press in the setting on the right side "Restore Tabs to Default" .
Shoud work. Good luck.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
